Dear Just 5 Family, We hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and optimistic in the midst of these concerning times. For the month of May, Just 5 donated $1,500 to an elderly father and manual labor worker who has struggled financially leading up to and enhanced by the coronavirus pandemic. Despite being amongst one of the most vulnerable groups to COVID-19, our recipient has continued to try and find any work possible. Unfortunately, the lack of demand for work has left him with little to no income and he is struggling to buy basic necessities. Our donation will allow him to buy the necessary groceries and provide some financial stability during these very unstable times for him and his family. We hope this story is a reminder that while we are living in uncertainty, compassion and empathy can unite us and ensure we come out of this pandemic stronger and more connected. Love, Just 5 Board
