$2,500 Donated to a Single Mother and Domestic Abuse Victim

Thank you to all of our generous donors for allowing J5 to provide financial support to a single mother during the month of September. This devoted and loving mother found herself being a victim of domestic abuse. Her four children suffered both physical and emotional abuse from their father as well. With the help of a generous rabbi in the community, this family was able to find a place of their own as well as file a restraining order against their father. As they are now finding themselves in a financial struggle, we hope that our donations will alleviate their worries and uplift their spirits. The money donated will be used to pay for rent, clothing, food as well as her children's expenses.
